After his time at IDA, Jeremy went on to represent Puerto Rico in the 2022 CONCACAF U-20 Championship qualifying where he scored a brace against Bermuda and helped his team qualify for the final tournament.
Jeremy now plays for Castellón in the third division of the Spanish soccer pyramid.
His favorite part of his IDA experience? The film. "IDA helped me prepare for the National Team by allowing me to analyze my games" he said in a recent interview we did with him. "It was super helpful to see what I was doing wrong and how to fix my mistakes."
Kaden utilized IDA in one of the exact ways it was intended to be used - through a planned GAP year. He knew that he had a dream of playing soccer in college, but wanted to make sure he was ready for the challenge going into it and decided to fine-tune his skills at IDA UK.
When we asked him if IDA had an impact on his college process, he responded with the following:
"Yes, IDA absolutely had a positive impact on my recruiting process and finding the right home for me. Not only from my coach reaching out to the coaches at the school and helping me with the process, but living and playing at IDA for 6 months making me a better player and person with better habits will help me perform at the next level as well."

Kyah Le always knew she wanted to play in a world cup, and she has taken every step along the way to help her reach that goal. She attended IDA's academy in Rome, Italy in 2021-22, but that wasn't her first international experience. Kyah had spent one summer with the Vietnam Football Federation's U-19 squad, and claims that both her experience there as well as with IDA helped her continue down the path of reaching her goal.
"On the field, this experience is helping me grow as a player by opening my eyes to the style of game here in Rome. Since their style is so unique, I have to adjust and improve on the parts of my game that differ from the States.”
After her time at IDA, Le played for Serie C side Res Roma and has recently joined Gonzaga where she looks to continue her journey.

Arik chose to join IDA Valencia because it had all the key components for him: an elite coaching staff, top class facilities, close knit teammates, and a high level of training right at his fingertips. “My main goal was to get better. I did not necessarily have a goal of signing a professional contract or going back to the US for a Division 1 school… I just wanted to get better.”
After his time with IDA, Arik received a full ride scholarship to Cal!
When COVID-19 caused his freshman season at Amherst College to be cancelled, Laurens knew he had to stay sharp, build on his summer training and continue his education - leading him to IDA Valencia.
While his time at IDA was only a short stint before he ultimately returned to Amherst, Laurens reflected back on how impactful the training schedule at IDA was to keep him at the top of his game and in a good position for the next season:
"It was the first time in my life where I was able to play two times a day, hit the gym whenever I wanted to, and have coaches around me 24/7. Having the chance to train with my IDA team in the morning and then again with a Spanish club at night really helped my ability as well as my knowledge of the game. It was truly incredible.”

As another GAP year student, Mac's goal was to play division I college soccer, and wanted to take the extra year to ensure he was putting his best foot forward and getting into a college where he could fulfill that dream. He had always wanted to play in the UK, so his interest was immediately drawn towards the IDA UK campus in Reading in the fall of 2020.
Mac immersed himself in the culture of English soccer and really took the time he felt he needed to grow as a player both on and off of the field. Eventually, our IDA advisors were able to help him narrow his list of schools down to Iona College, where he ended up attending and helping their team to their first-ever MAAC Championship.
Mac, a junior now, has taken a step further in his career and currenlty plays for Cornell University.
