At International Development Academy, we wanted to give players the chance to experience everything that is so great about being an IDA player, without the full commitment of attending an academy full time.
The solution? Create short-term programs where student-athletes can come train, play and immerse themselves in the IDA culture. Whether you are looking to get touches on the ball before you head off to college or just looking to experience soccer in Europe, IDA has an option for everyone to take that next step in their journey.
IDA Camps are specifically designed to be short-term experiences that takes place over the summer months of June/July. If you want a taste of what IDA is about without jumping into the full program or experience, this is the right option for you.
Our Player Experience offering is an option is for more serious players with the goal of playing at the next level. The IDA Player Experience integrates directly into the IDA Residential Academy Program where participants train, compete, and experience the day-to-day life of a full-time IDA student-athlete.
The Men's Trial program is for 18+ year old soccer players looking to fulfill their dream of playing soccer in Europe while getting exposure to quality competition, coaching, and scouting. IDA Men's Trial programs are run by top-level IDA coaches and local men's teams' head coaches who are invited to scout for talent.
IDA Pre-Season is a program giving the athletes one to four weeks of progressive training and preparation. With 12-15 hours of recorded training per week (for analysis and highlight film usage) your athlete is ensured to be on a pathway to success here.
