International Development Academy (IDA) will soon be hosting a "Unlock Global Insights" virtual event on Zoom. Hear from our elite coaching staff and get to know our academic and athletic model. With an open Q&A session, you'll have the chance to ask questions about the international academies. The webinar sessions will be 45 minutes long and with multiple time slots offered for the following locations Spain, UK, and the USA, we've got something for everyone.

Located in Valencia, Spain, IDA's Residential Academy offers student-athletes aged 15-21 the opportunity to fully immerse themselves into Spanish culture in the heart of Spain. Student-athletes will train and compete against local semi-professional and professional clubs while attaining college credits.

The Reading, UK academy has players in the "Home of Football" where they will be training on state-of-the-art facilities with some of the best coaching staff available. This academy gives players a real taste of English culture and provides student-athletes with all of the tools they need to take the next step, whether that be on the pitch or in the classroom.

IDA has partnered up with DME Soccer Academy to give players the international experience they would receive at other academies right in the United States. Located in Daytona Beach, Florida, this academy has an unrivaled route into college recruitment and gives student-athletes access to a 47,000-square-foot performance center.

Jeremy De Leon

After making his mark on CD Castellon for over a year including 43 appearances and 2 goals, the 19-year old has signed a professional contract with Real Madrid. Jeremy's two-year contract will last until 2026. He is set to join Real Madrid's reserve team, Real Madrid Castilla. The team plays in the Segunda Division B.

Jeremy will be the second Puerto Rican to ever wear a Real Madrid jersey. We are extremely proud to continue to follow Jeremy’s journey that started at our Valencia Academy in 2020!

Arik Duncan

Arik chose to join IDA Valencia because it had all the key components for him: an elite coaching staff, top class facilities, close knit teammates, and a high level of training right at his fingertips. “My main goal was to get better. I did not necessarily have a goal of signing a professional contract or going back to the US for a Division 1 school… I just wanted to get better.”

After his time with IDA, Arik received a full ride scholarship to Cal!
