IDA UK Winter Player Experiences are for more advanced players, aged 16+, who have ambitions of playing at the next level (US University and/or professionally). By integrating directly into the IDA UK Residential Academy Program, participants will train and compete at the highest level with our UEFA licensed coaches whilst experiencing the day-to-day life of a full-time IDA student-athlete in the 'Home of Football'.

ESL Courses

General English Language Program.
15 Hours Learning per Week.
Assessment Prior to Level Placement
Topics Covered: Communication, Pronunciation, Vocabulary & Situation-Based Learning.
Cost: $300 per week.

Facilities

IDA UK players reside at Hillside Court in Reading, a village within the local student community. IDA UK houses consist of 7 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large dining and living area. Each player will have their own room, and will share a house with 6 of their teammates. Ammenities include high speed Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, table tennis and pool tables, campus gardens, and CCTV-monitored houses. Our residence is also within walking distance of Reading town center.

IDA UK's state-of-the-art training facilities boast a new 4G pitch, a 130-station gym, two swimming pools, and a spinning studio. Players will have access to these facilities through their training sessions, giving them a true outlook on what life is like as a professional academy player.

What age group can attend the IDA UK Winter Training

What are the payment options?

Registrations for our Winter Training programs will follow the following payment schedules:

June 7th-July 31st - Register with a $295 deposit. You will then pay two equal instalments on September 1st and November 1st 2024 to complete the balance for your program.
August, September & October - Registrations during these months will be required to pay half of the program fees upon registering and the other half on November 1st 2024.
November - Registrations during the first two weeks of November will be required to pay the program fees in full.

Registrations will close on Friday November 15th.

Passport Information

Do I need a Visa and what type of visa do I require?

IMPORTANT: You are responsible for all of your travel documents and ensuring they are valid (see passport information above). Based on your nationality, you will need to check if a visa is needed for the country where your camp is located (contact the appropriate consulate office for entry requirements and visa requirements). Plan ahead as the visa application can be a long process. If you need a visa, it is mandatory that you apply right away after you have processed your online registration. The more you wait, the more chances you have to be denied a visa!
