The IDA UK Men's Trial is designed specifically for players, aged 16+, who are looking to fulfill their dream of playing soccer in Europe whilst getting exposure to quality competition, coaching, and scouting.

The Men's Trial program is run by top-level IDA Coaches and local men's teams' head coaches who are invited to scout for talent. With up to a month of intensive training and video recorded showcase games, IDA UK Men's Trial participants will maximize their experience at the highest level of the game.

Men's Trial Details

✓ Daily on-field training with UEFA licensed coaches.

Facilities

IDA UK Men's Trial Participants will reside at Hillside Court in Reading. IDA UK houses consist of 7 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large dining and living area. Each player will have their own room, and will share a house with 6 of their teammates. Ammenities include high speed Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, table tennis and pool tables, campus gardens, and CCTV-monitored houses. Our residence is also within walking distance of Reading town center.

IDA UK's state-of-the-art training facilities boast a new 4G pitch, a 130-station gym, two swimming pools, and a spinning studio. Participants will have access to these facilities through their Men's Trial experience, giving them a true outlook on what life is like as a professional academy player, and helping them to maximize their experience at the highest level of the game.

Passport Information

Do I need a Visa and what type of visa do I require?

IMPORTANT: You are responsible for all of your travel documents and ensuring they are valid (see passport information above). Based on your nationality, you will need to check if a visa is needed for the country where your camp is located (contact the appropriate consulate office for entry requirements and visa requirements). Plan ahead as the visa application can be a long process. If you need a visa, it is mandatory that you apply right away after you have processed your online registration. The more you wait, the more chances you have to be denied a visa!
