IDA Valencia Winter Player Experiences are for more advanced players, aged 12+, who have ambitions of playing at the next level (US University and/or professionally). By integrating directly into the IDA Valencia Residential Academy Program, participants will train and compete at the highest level with our UEFA licensed coaches whilst staying in the heart of Spain and experiencing the day-to-day life of a full-time IDA student-athlete.

Spanish Language Classes

General Spanish Language Program.
5 Hours Learning per Week.
Assessment Prior to Level Placement
Topics Covered: Communication, Pronunciation, Vocabulary & Situation-Based Learning.
Cost: $150 per week.

Program Details

Ages: 12-23 (players will be grouped age-appropriately)
Accommodation and meals all inclusive
Airport pick up and drop off - no extra cost
12-15 hours of high performance training per week
Training with local Spanish clubs
Video footage of training sessions
Performance training sessions including Strength and Conditioning, video analysis, football coaching methodology, etc.

Facilities

IDA Valencia Players reside at Mas Camarena Resort in the peaceful town of Torre en Conill Norte, just 15 minutes from downtown Valencia. Players will stay in 4-star accommodation at Valencia's top student residence, with 2 full-sized turf fields, a gym, a swimming pool and a private cafeteria all on the same site. Other amenities include high speed Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, gardens, classrooms and round-the-clock security.

IDA Valencia Players will have full access to these state-of-the-art facilities as part of their camp experience, giving them a true outlook on what life is like as a professional academy player.

What Airport should my child fly to?

What age group can attend the IDA Winter Training Experiences?

What are the payment options?

Registrations for our Winter Training programs will follow the following payment schedules:

June 7th-July 31st - Register with a $295 deposit. You will then pay two equal instalments on September 1st and November 1st 2024 to complete the balance for your program.
August, September & October - Registrations during these months will be required to pay half of the program fees upon registering and the other half on November 1st 2024.
November - Registrations during the first two weeks of November will be required to pay the program fees in full.

Registrations will close on Friday November 15th.

Passport Information

Do I need a Visa and what type of visa do I require?

IMPORTANT: You are responsible for all of your travel documents and ensuring they are valid (see passport information above). Based on your nationality, you will need to check if a visa is needed for the country where your camp is located (contact the appropriate consulate office for entry requirements and visa requirements). Plan ahead as the visa application can be a long process. If you need a visa, it is mandatory that you apply right away after you have processed your online registration. The more you wait, the more chances you have to be denied a visa!
