What motivates you to work hard?
I work hard to honor the sacrifices I decided to make. When I was 14 years old I decided to go to a foreign country, where I didn’t speak the language or knew anyone and be away from family and friends. I did this to pursue my dream of playing football in Europe and I want to honor the decisions and sacrifices I made.
If you had one wish to improve your game what would it be?
I wish I could accelerate my physical development. I’ve been working hard at the gym 5 times a week but I understand this is a process and I’ll remain committed to it.
What is your biggest fear?
I would not say I have a fear per se, but I am very attentive to balance my drive to train hard with my ability to recover and not get injured, playing responsibly. My biggest fear personally is losing loved ones, but I realize this is outside my control.
What is your super strength?
My super strength athletically it’s is my ability to play with my feet, my courageousness coming out of my goal going for the ball and my 1v1 shot stopping. Personally speaking, I believe my super strength is to not look back at the decisions I made in my life, like moving from Miami to France and then to Spain. I believe we can always learn from our mistakes and move on being continuously better.
Is your glass half full or empty?
Most times, I believe I am a “glass half full” kind of person. However, I see myself more of a realist. The great things in a situation move me forward but not without me wanting to understand and mitigate the risks involved.
