The thing that motivates me the most is my love for the game. The most important part of my life is this sport, and I work hard every time I play because I want to do well. I want to win. I hate losing more than anything. I love scoring goals, celebrating with the team, and contributing to success.
If you had one wish to improve your game what would it be?
If I had to improve one thing in my game, it would be my speed and strength. Luckily, that is one of the most straightforward things for someone my age to improve.
What is your biggest fear?
My biggest fear in football is injuries. I have had so many in my life, and they have plagued every area of my body, head to toe. I still struggle with being overly physical in games because of this fear, though it has improved this season.
What is your super strength?
My strength is my game IQ. I have good vision and the ability to control games as a forward, and I have the technical ability to back it up for the most part.
Is your glass half full or empty?
I’d say in life I am more in between, but in football, I have had a very positive glass-half-full mindset as of late. I guess the best way to explain this is what would happen if I weren’t, which would be a generally demoralizing attitude on the field, which is something that can lose a game.
